DocCleanroom is built using a zero-backend architecture. When you upload a document or an image to strip its metadata, all processing occurs entirely within your local web browser using JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded to a remote server, never stored in a database, and never seen by human eyes. The moment you close or refresh this browser tab, all trace of your files is completely erased from your device's temporary memory.
To understand general traffic volume and performance, we use a privacy-first, anonymous web analytics service (provided by Cloudflare). This service does not use tracking cookies, does not collect personal identifiers, does not create persistent user profiles, and does not track your behavior across other websites. It merely counts basic aggregated metrics like total page views and general geographic regions (country level).
