At DocCleanroom, privacy isn't just a feature—it is the entire foundation of our tool. This Privacy Policy outlines exactly how data is handled when you visit our website.
DocCleanroom is built using a zero-backend architecture. When you upload a document or an image to strip its metadata, all processing occurs entirely within your local web browser using JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded to a remote server, never stored in a database, and never seen by human eyes. The moment you close or refresh this browser tab, all trace of your files is completely erased from your device's temporary memory.
To understand general traffic volume and performance, we use Netlify Analytics, which is generated directly from our hosting provider's own server logs rather than a script running in your browser. Because it doesn't rely on JavaScript, it isn't affected by ad blockers or tracking-prevention extensions the way many script-based analytics tools are. Like standard web server logs, it processes technical request information (such as IP address, requested page, and referring page) to produce aggregate traffic statistics; it does not use tracking cookies, does not build personal profiles, and does not track your behavior on other websites.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. Any changes will be posted directly to this page with an updated timestamp.
